Nominees for 2nd O Music Awards: Katy Perry, Bieber, Demi Lovato, GaGa and More

MTV is back with its annual digital music celebration, O Music Awards, for a second time. This time around, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato and Lady GaGa are among lucky musicians who lead nomination list with two nods each.

Perry is listed in two new categories, Best Lyric Video and Best Artist with a Cameraphone. She is battling Joe Jonas, Lenny Kravitz, Christina Perri, and D.Willz for the former prize. In the latter category, she faces off a bunch of artists including two teen pop singers Bieber and Lovato.

Beside going head to head in the Best Artist with a Cameraphone, Bieber and Lovato also bump into each other in their second nomination. Their devotees, “Beliebers” and “Lovatics”, pit them against each other in Fan Army FTW. They are joined by the likes of Tokio Hotel, Adam Lambert, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and GaGa.

In addition to competing for best fan, the Mother Monster also has a chance to be named Must Follow Artist on Twitter. To win the coveted gong, the outlandish singer has to beat fellow celebs like Mark Hoppus, Snoop Dogg, Blake Shelton and Cher.

Winners for the second O Music Awards will be announced on October 31 in a star-studded ceremony. Voting has begun since Tuesday, September 27 on its official site. The other artists who are listed among the nominees include Britney Spears, Gwyneth Paltrow and Foo Fighters.
